Source Bump

Source Bump provides an additional layer of redundancy within the Crispin automation system by enabling dynamic switching between video sources in response to defined conditions. It can function as a “rain-fade” solution, triggering via GPI input to automatically switch to a trouble slide or alternate source in the event of signal loss. More commonly, Source Bump is used to manage automatic transitions between primary and backup video sources through a traditional master control switcher. For example, if a playlist encounters missing media or playback errors, the system can seamlessly switch to a designated backup source within the event.
