What are Crispin’s standard procedures for OS security patches?
Question
What are Crispin’s standard procedures for OS security patches?
Answer
On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, Crispin will add the newest approved Windows Security Patches to the FTP site. Any station on a current Crispin support plan may access the FTP site at any time and install based on station IT requirements.
These patches have been tested on the specific Crispin-supported Windows versions to ensure that these patches will not cause any issues with the Crispin applications. The Security Patch Installers are standalone updates that can be moved to the server and ran at any time.
For customers with expired support agreements, please contact sales@www.crispincorp.com to renew your support agreement, or pay a one-time upgrade fee to update all applications to the latest version.
Secondary Records can also be used for delay recording in order to start recording content on one channel and play back on a separate channel with a set delay. The Crispin system also allows for users to pull content up in Dubber and edit while recording continues.
