Does LoadingDock have integration with Wide Orbit?

Question

Does LoadingDock have integration with Wide Orbit?

Answer

Crispin’s latest release of Loadingdock includes support for the Electronic Materials feature that Wide Orbit offers. This means that LoadingDock can provide an electronic list of the available short-form content it’s DTA Sync has found on your source folders. This feature only includes content from commercial source folders that include metadata sidecar files (xml) to be captured and reported by LoadingDock. Source content from providers that do not include metadata sidecar files (Often referred to as “NOXML” type DTA folders) will not be reported.

This new feature also includes the ability to filter out which content is included based on duration (minutes). For example, any content longer than a 20 minute duration is considered to be program content and will be excluded from the report. Any content with a duration less than 20 mins will be included in the report. If no value has been set, all content will be considered commercial content and will be included in the report, regardless of its duration.

In addition, you can customize the interval that LoadingDock compiles and sends the reports to WideOrbit. The default is set to 30 minutes, but the customer may elect a different interval for running and sending these reports.

Note: Customers must work with WideOrbit to have the Electronic Materials feature enabled, which could be a paid for feature
