Technical services engineer, Jaleel Boone, is passionate about technology and broadcasting. After working in technical support for a few years and then taking that skill set to the broadcasting industry, joining the Crispin team in December 2017 was a natural fit.
Says Jaleel, “I love that broadcasting technology is constantly evolving. A lot of people don’t realize how much technology goes into the broadcasts they watch and to be working behind the scenes on it is exciting.”
While he’s got several years of experience in the industry, he’s excited that his role at Crispin will also include onsite help and providing support for both hardware and software, in a friendly, team environment. “This team can get things done in a relatively short amount of time. I’m excited to be part of a group of people with a shared passion for the products and making sure every customer gets the best support possible.”
Originally from Durham, Jaleel spent several years working in the DC area before moving back to North Carolina to work at Crispin. He’s excited to be back in his hometown, closer to family, and having the opportunity to introduce his wife, Alyssa, to the area.
When he’s not providing support to Crispin’s customers, Jaleel enjoys listening to music from every genre. He says, “I really do listen to a little bit of everything. From country to rap, electronic to jazz and everything in between.”
As a North Carolina native, Jaleel is a dedicated fan of both the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets, through the good times and the bad. His favorite thing to snack on while watching the games? Buffalo wings – the spicier the better.
And, even when he’s not working, his passion for broadcasting bleeds into his personal life through his love of movies. “Beyond just watching movies, I like to analyze them, learning about the production side of things and the work that goes into making them. It all ties back into how much I love what I do for a living,” says Jaleel.
