This document outlines the job responsibilities and requirements for the Senior Account Manager position in our Sales department. This position is required to work from the Crispin Raleigh Office. The information outlined below is at a high level and may be adjusted as needed pending review of the position, on a continual basis.
As a member of the sales team, you will use your sales skills and technical knowledge of Crispin’s product suite to support customers through the entire sales process. Crispin’s sales team works in a joint effort to support new and current customers and all sales team members are responsible for trying to obtain new market share ongoing. The candidate must work with customers on the phone, through email and in-person to provide technical drawings, sales quotes, software demonstrations and on-going/as-needed support.
The candidate must be willing to travel to visit current and potential customers, attend and work trade shows, and other industry events and meetings. The candidate must have strong customer relationship skills and enjoy problem-solving, as every customer sale is different. The candidate must also have strong organizational and technical skills, in order to work through customer requirements and Crispin offerings. A proven track record of converting leads into opportunities is a plus.
The candidate will be required to maintain on-going record keeping of current customer communication and potential leads in ACT (CRM). Will maintain relationships with customers and manage support contracts, changes in customer solutions, and upselling new products. The candidate will attend weekly sales meetings for forecast updates and customer project reviews. On-going coordination and communication with other internal departments is necessary, as required by each customer project.
