As a Technical Services Engineer, Perry Wolff-Tripp spends a lot of his time traveling around the country to customer sites, helping new clients get set up on the Crispin system. “Being onsite with different customers has been a great way to learn things I might never have thought of from someone else’s perspective. I like interacting with new people and helping them get started with Crispin.”
Since joining the company in 2014, Perry has enjoyed seeing Crispin’s growth in a short amount of time. He attributes part of the company’s success to the working atmosphere. “The office environment is laidback and relaxed, but you can count on everyone to take care of what needs to be done. It’s been exciting to see the company constantly progressing forward and taking on new projects over the last year and a half,” he says.
Perry’s strong IT background has been an asset in coming into the world of broadcasting. He says, “Working with people who have been in the industry for a long time has helped me to see things differently and start thinking of solutions to problems in a different way. It’s even encouraged me to delve into the world of programming a bit.”
When he’s not working or studying up on his new programming skills, Perry enjoys staying active by mountain biking and going to the gym. He’s also passionate about music and has been playing the guitar for about 14 years, primarily playing jazz-style music. “It would be hard for me to give up playing the guitar. It’s a nice way to unwind and relax after a long day.”
Born and raised in the Raleigh area, Perry got his degree from Wake Technical Community College. Before joining Crispin, he worked as a project manager for a game development company. Perry and his girlfriend have two cats, named Odin and Finley.
