Software Engineer, Michael Taylor, joined the Crispin team in September 2019 and has hit the ground running, which is exactly how he likes it. “Every day I’m learning new things about both software engineering and the broadcasting industry. I can’t get enough of it. In this role, I get to work on so many different things and the whole team has been really supportive and willing to help when I need it.”
A graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., Michael majored in English, but ultimately decided to pursue a tech role instead. He worked in tech support before starting his career as a Software Engineer with Crispin.
Originally from Raleigh, Michael moved back to the Triangle after college. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time outside being active and he has recently taken up indoor rock climbing.
As a classically trained pianist, he also enjoys playing the piano regularly and reading pieces of literature he never got around to reading in college. But, perhaps his most exciting hobby of late is building a maze-solving robot. He says, “I like to do a little bit of everything, and whether I’m working or just developing a new skill, I always want to keep learning.”
