WXVT-TV buys CRISPIN Automation for Commercial Playback
Raleigh, NC - Sept. 7, 2000 - CRISPIN, a leading
provider of automation solutions for broadcast facilities worldwide,
has won the contract for automation for WXVT-TV, Greenville, MS.
WXVT-TV bought Crispin and within 3 days were running on-air.

Running directly on the Profile, Crispin's RapidPlayX will
control the Profile PDR324D Video Server for commercial
playback. Using Crispin's Mapper software to
interface to their JDS Traffic software to create a playlist,
Dubber and DubberAssist for dubbing of the programming and commercials
for playback, and SmartWedge to allow GPI Input and output control of
the Crispin software. The SmartWedge hardware features 12
user programmable opto-isolated GPI inputs and 12 outputs.
