Multiple TV Stations and Sports Teams sign with CRISPIN for TV Automation

Raleigh, NC - Jan. 22, 2001 - CRISPIN Corporation, a leading providing of TV automation, has won the automation contracts for several TV Stations and Facilities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico in the past month.

Joining the Crispin Customer ranks will be:

  • WCYB, Bristol, TN/VA, with Crispin's Total Automation "System 2000" for a four-channel system record and playback of WB, NBC, PAX, and MSNBC. The System includes clock starts, real time record and playback, mirroring/backup, commercial record and playback, program record/segmenting/playback, device control, playlist management, and databasing. The Crispin System 2000 will be controlling two Sony MAV70 video servers, GVG Master 21 Switcher, Videotek RS12A Routers, and numerous tape machines and devices.
  • WTVD, Raleigh, NC- ABC O&O WTVD will be installing Crispin's Total Automation "System 2000" including clock starts, real time record and playback, mirroring/backup, commercial record and playback, program record/segmenting/playback, device control, playlist management, and databasing. The Crispin System 2000 will be control two Mediastream 700 video servers and numerous devices.
  • Cablevision of Mexico will be using Crispin's System 2000 for a 10-channel commercial playback system, program record and playback.
  • KARK, Little Rock, AR, has purchase Crispin's RapidPlayX and Dubber for commercial record and playback with their GVG Profiles and GPI Control with Crispin's SmartWedge.
  • CKTV, Trois Rivieres, Canada, owned by Cogeco Television, will be installing Crispin's RapidPlayX system for News Playback for the SGI Origin Video Servers.
  • KWBM, Branson, MO, has purchase Crispin's Automation System including RapidPlayX, Mapper, and Dubber for commercial record and playback with their GVG Profiles and GPI Control with Crispin's SmartWedge.
  • WLAJ, Lansing, MI, has purchase Crispin's RapidPlayX and Dubber for commercial record and playback with their GVG Profiles and GPI Control with Crispin's SmartWedge.
  • WHTV, Holt, MI, and KBCB, Seattle, both owned by Venture Technologies, has installed Crispin's Total Automation System 2000 for multi-channel playback. KBCB will use the System 200 with their International channel by doing a clock start for inserts. RapidPlayX 2000, Mapper 2000, and Dubber 2000 for playlist management, commercial record and playback with their GVG Profiles and GPI Control with Crispin's SmartWedge.
  • WCPO, Cincinnati, OH purchased Crispin's Dubber and DubberAssist for dubbing between their GVG PDR 324 Video Servers and tape machines.
  • NBC O&O WRC, Washington, DC, expanded their existing CRISPIN system by adding additional workstations of RapidPlayX, Dubber, and

  • Portland Trailblazers, Portland, OR, purchased Crispin's Automation System including RapidPlayX, Mapper, and Dubber for commercial record and playback with their GVG Profiles and GPI Control with Crispin's SmartWedge.
  • NBA, Secaucus, NJ, purchased Crispin's Automation System RapidPlayX and DeviceServer for 12 LIVE simultaneous record and playback channels for the playout of the NBA games to their affiliates. Crispin is controlling two GVG XP Video Servers, and Crispin System 2000 Total Automation Systems create automatic operation of master-control functionsÑincluding spot playback, and precise time of day record and playback of syndicated and network programming. Crispin's System 2000 features database management, playlist management, and device control. It accommodates network delays, long form records, playback operations and commercial record playback operations.
  • Crispin's System 2000 works on Windows NT 4 utilizing TCP/IP to establish communication via a LAN to the Crispin applications.
