Belo's Spanish NewsChannel selects CRISPIN for News Playback

Raleigh, NC - Sept. 15, 2000 - CRISPIN, a leading
provider of automation solutions for broadcast facilities worldwide,
has won the contract for News Playback for the Spanish NewsChannel,
Phoenix, AZ-the country's 17th-largest television market.Spanish
NewsChannel, a joint venture by Cox and Belo, will feature news,
sports, and feature stories in Spanish. Targets to air September 28,
Spanish NewsChannel will use Crispin's RapidPlayX 2000 and Device
Server for real-time control via LAN of the Vibrant Editor and
the GVG PDR 300 Video Server. Crispin's SmartWedge will
allow GPI output control of the editing and playback. The
SmartWedge hardware features 12 user programmable opto-isolated GPI
inputs and 12 outputs.
