Dubber
Dubber is Crispin’s acquisition software for
dubbing video assets for play-to-air requirements.
It controls a video server I/O port and a source
device (VTR, catch server) to execute frame accurate
transfers of assets to the video server.
Dubber works with AssetBase,
Crispin’s database application, to automatically
generate dub lists. Dub lists appear in the Dubber
list window. Simply select the clip record to
transfer the data and prepare a dub session. Dubber
may also be used to create clips on the fly from
live or uncontrolled sources. Dubber assets for

Clip Panel
ClipPanel is a multi-purpose editing tool that
allows operators to control and edit any clip
on the video server. It’s very simple to use as
its control is very similar to a VTR machine.
ClipPanel allows operators to record, play, set
marks, add comments, trim, delete and fi bre-copy
clips on a video server. The application is capable
of creating and extracting multiple clips from
an original, which helps with program segment
preparation. ClipPanel also has a drag and drop
feature that allows operators to move clips quickly
to and from TurboBrowser, Dubber and RapidPlayX.
Operators can also remotely operate ClipPanel
using SmartWedge, Crispin’s GPI control.
