Asset Base
AssetBase is a unique Web-enabled asset management
solution that combines extensive media management
capabilities with a powerful relational database.
Together, these tools allow users to monitor and
track specifi c video assets such as house numbers,
ISCI, comments, durations and cue points on various
video servers, archive storage systems and near-line
disk arrays.
Another AssetBase feature allows users to automatically
create and manage associated metadata, such as
program length, date shot, editor and number of
times aired. Crispin applications connect to the
database via Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC)
to allow users both read and write functions.play-to-air.

currently available for Pathfire-delivered content
only. DG Systems, FastChannel, MediaDVX and Vyvx
support will be available in Q4 2006.accessible
Web interface.

Crispin produces a complete line of modular software
automation packages designed specifically for
GVG Profile. These affordable modules can be combined
to create systems ranging from a cost effective,
single-channel playout system to a large multi-channel
system with automated fibre channel transfers.
All Crispin playback modules can be interfaced
with most popular Traffic and Newsroom systems.
Control of Profile is achieved via LAN, and modules
