Sara Biron | Senior Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations

Sara brings a wide variety of support to the Crispin organization. As part of the Crispin management team, Sara manages the Crispin sales, finance, and marketing departments while also being involved in other internal operational needs. Her days vary from budgets and forecasts, to customer calls and demos, to technical writing for marketing efforts, and much more. She enjoys the variety that her role at Crispin brings to her work life, though really loves the relationship-building with customers, the most.

North Carolina born and raised, Sara grew up in Charlotte and attended college at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She then started her career in radio, at Entercom Communications, working for a group of 6 local radio stations. During her time at the station group, she managed many different needs for the company, from event planning, on-air and digital sales, to business management. Near the end of her time at Entercom, the station group was going through a Traffic System conversion, from Marketron to WideOrbit. As one of the internal point people for the project, Sara helped manage and train employees between the traffic, sales and billing departments. This project allowed Sara to think big picture, for the next steps in her career, later landing at Crispin.

When joining the Crispin team, in May of 2013, Sara felt the move was an easy choice by staying in the broadcast industry. “Moving from a media outlet to a broadcast vendor was an exciting change and yet still felt like home,” she said. Sara began her time with Crispin by managing all marketing efforts, trade shows and internal support for business and sales activities. As the company has grown and changed, so has Sara’s role within the company. When asked what she likes best about working for Crispin, A Sony Group company, she said “We have the best of both worlds, we are a small company vibe, with a large company of support. Sony is a great company to be a part of, between the benefits, work-life balance, and overall company culture.”

When she is not working, Sara and her family love being outside, traveling, and trying the latest new restaurants. But the best is always the time spent with family and friends, especially her husband, Mike, and their kids, Jake and Kaylee.
