StudioControl

Crispin StudioControl is a new way of operating live events for Crispin automation customers. StudioControl gives the news or sports studio a utility for viewing the running playlist and rolling breaks. By providing a tailored view of the playlist, StudioControl lets technical directors quickly see whether the break is ready to roll, which content fills the break, and also trigger the break to roll. Large heads-up displays of the event and break countdown make it easy to see when the break will complete and return to live news or sports. .

StudioControl will not allow modifications to the playlist and it also prevents the technical director from inadvertently rolling material after a break has started. StudioControl is easy to setup and use. It eliminates the guesswork between the studio and master control during handoff of breaks, preventing the most common causes of missed spots, saving you lost revenue and improving the quality of your on-air product.

Overview
StudioControl provides a read-only view of a single channel for the newsroom and other operators broadcasting live events. It allows the studio to view the running playlist, the countdown clocks, and roll commercial breaks.
